Welcome

I’m a former food writer who has always been equally hungry for fiction, history, science, psychology, poetry, travel (armchair or otherwise), and anything fascinating. My first novel, The Light on Farallon Island, will be published in 2023. You can add it on Goodreads and pre-order it now. My second book, Tenderhearted Executioner, will follow.

I am SO stoked (and so, so grateful) to get to do this again! Countless thanks to @larkwords as always. Just the drink for this unexpectedly snowy night. (And I'm inaugurating my amazing new glass to boot.) It's snowing! And sticking! ❄️🌨🐾 Skeletal remains of a circa-1906 shipwreck (and one of SO many reasons I ❤ the Oregon coast). blue/moon Couldn't let December pass without getting in some @doedonuts seasonal flavors (even though we have a jillion cookies in the house)! 🍩👌 Italian rainbow cookies but make it even more festive. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty impressed with myself for pulling these off (in all their imperfect glory). 🎄 Little (violent) visitor. Do you lick or bite your Popsicles? Mishka is team cronch.
